Iconographic Commentary & Symbolism
This image also forms part of Tantric devi series in Basohli and depicts devi in her benign form granting boon to the seekers shown by her out stretched hand. The golden halo behind her radiates light indicating her divine personality. Devi in her pure white garments stands majestically against a green background with narrow strips of foreground and sky as seen in many paintings of the series.
